LONDON ESF PROGRAMME
Street League is proud to receive funding from the European Social Fund to support our work in London. We have received £1,250,889.60 of funding from the European Social Fund as part of the 2014-2020 European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme in England.
With this support, we will work with young people across London to improve their employability skills, wellbeing, and move into work. Specifically, we aim to support 730 young people to engage on our programmes until Dec 2023, with 400 progressing into employment, education, and training, and at least 208 sustaining employment beyond 6 months.
The Department for Work and Pensions (and in London the intermediate body Greater London Authority) is the Managing Authority for the England European Social Fund programme. Established by the European Union, the European Social Fund helps local areas stimulate their economic development by investing in projects which will support skills development, employment and job creation, social inclusion and local community regenerations.
