Kirsty Steven
Kirsty joined Street League in 2011 after graduating from the University of Dundee where she gained an Honours Degree in Community Education. Kirsty’s experience throughout her studies involved consultancy work with other charities across Scotland, and this confirmed her passion for working in the charity sector and more particularly, with young people. Throughout Kirsty’s time at Street League, she has worked within delivery roles, then progressed into Operations Management in Ayrshire and Lanarkshire. In 2018 Kirsty took part in the Bank of America funded, Clore Leadership Programme.
Kirsty is now Head of Operations for Scotland. As part of a wider portfolio, Kirsty is also responsible for overseeing all social media, communications and marketing for Street League.
Favourite sport: Tennis and it is on her bucket list to attend a Grand Slam!
First job: As a receptionist in a hairdressers before going to Boston for Camp America to be a Tennis Coach.
After all these years at Street League, I still see on a daily basis the importance and value of our purpose, helping young people. Making a difference to our future generation is a responsibility I take seriously.
