Run for Street League
As a sports based charity, we at Street League like to think we're fit. We play football, we compete in triathlons, we kickbox, we play squash, we fence and we cycle (we also sit behind desks and drink a lot of tea - unfortunately not yet recognised as a sport). So, from one set of finely toned athletes to another, we doff our caps to the following:
Andrew Osborne, a partner with Hammonds Law Firm, completed the London Marathon on 26th April in a very impressive three hours forty one minutes (5144st out of 35000 fact fans). In the process he raised £1,200 for Street League. Congratulations and a big thanks from all of us.
On Sunday 10th May a group of volunteers from State Street and Hammonds took part in the Do it For Charity 5km run in Regents Park to raise money for Street League. After weeks of gruelling training we are pleased to say all participants completed the 5km run successfully and raised over £1000! A huge thanks from all of us Street League to the following people: Andy Beashel, Kate Bridle, Tim Dissen, Wade McDonald, Debbie McKie, Shannon Morales, Lee Stone, Alexandria Webb, Po Yee Wong, Gillie Abbots, Laura Searles, Jan Lucas and Jonny Dunkly.
